This research aimed to study traits of intimacy, optimism, tolerance, and responsibility among unknown parentage adolescents and its relationship to some demographic variables such as sex, age, education level, and family kind. The researchers used descriptive method. The sample consist of (51) unknown parentage adolescents, (37) males and (24) females. The data collected by test of intimacy, optimism, tolerance, and responsibility traits prepared by researchers. The data analyzed by suitable statistical tests in SPSS program, including t-test, man Whitney U, Spearman Correlation index, and Person correlation Index. The results indicated that; the traits of optimism and responsibility among unknown parentage adolescents are high, whereas, the traits of intimacy and tolerance are mediate. There are significant statistical differences in positive traits of personality between unknown parentages adolescents according to kind of family raring in favor of adolescents raised in volunteer families. There are no significant statistical differences in positive traits of personality between unknown parentage adolescents according to sex. There is no significant statistical correlation relationship between positive traits of personality and education level among unknown parentage adolescents, whereas, there is negative significant statistical correlation relationship between intimacy trait and age among unknown parentage adolescents. In conclusion the researchers presented some recommendations and future research suggestions
