This paper presents the experience of a cross-cultural outpatient clinic for child and adolescent psychiatry in Vienna, focusing on migrant families. The findings indicate that addressing cultural background improves diagnostic accuracy, increases treatment compliance, and enhances mental health outcomes. The study emphasizes the importance of culturally adapted psychiatric services and training for professionals.
